It wasn’t winter yet but we put on our coats to walk around the neighborhood basketball court. We walk through the streets embraced by the last leaves of the year, leaving the sidewalks with more life and the trees with less. Some children were on the playground, but we went to free the ball we had with us. The noise of the city seemed to have been drowned out by Henry’s laughter and the conversations between them around the ball. A cold morning easily turns when anyone who can observe notices an aura of love happening anywhere. The existence of this feeling is a valuable reason to breathe.
