The snow that morning made the house appear to be floating on top of a small white hill. I was greeted at the door with the smiles of four happy girls and a little 4-legged friend. Valentina soon showed me her new carnivorous plant and gave me a brief instruction on its diet of mosquitoes and insects. Throughout the house the light seemed to dance to the sound of the girls’ laughter. The soundtrack throughout the days is certainly a gift for mom and dad.

The walls full of frames with photographs tell us that memories are an important thing on that place. Nothing more sacred than the place where your family will create memories of a lifetime. Nothing like the warmth of affection to remind us that winter mornings are more beautiful when we are together with the ones we love (and chocolate cookies!).
